Whether you shoot portraits, products or fashion, learning lighting is essential. After all photography is light. This 5-day workshop will take your photography skills to the next level. Learn how to read light, know about studio flashes, light modifiers and more. Practical demonstrations allow the students to build the confident needed when using studio lights for any shoot.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Abdallah Sabry was born and raised in Alexandria. He studied art for five years at faculty of Art education in Cairo where he specialized in photography, with a strong interest in fashion.
During University, Abdallah honed his photographic skills undertaking fashion field for several years then started archaeological documentation for the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE). As head of Photography for ARCE.
Throughout his time in Luxor, Abdallah continued to pursue his interest in fashion by photographing seasonal campaigns for clients such as Mobaco Cottons and magazines covers (Enigma-Insight). Since leaving ARCE in 2014, Abdallah has turned his attention to pursuing a fashion and advertising-focused career as a partner of 35mm Creative Studios for 9 month then started running his own studio BLACK STUDIO.
He has worked with clients such as Philips, TeData, Deana Shaaban, Giezelle Couture, Hany el Beihary, Pace e luci, Ahmed Fishawy, Dhafer LAbidine and Nadia Khairy. Abdallah is based in Cairo.
